In the 3rd stage of bidding we do an overview and make adjustments so its useful to understand the concepts of the system
SET UP
This video shows the basics of how bid buddy should be set up and things to look out for
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE QCI
The QCI amount is a quality score for that car , its a quick number that shows you if the car has lots of parts that we need or not
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SCALED PRICE AND ACTUAL PRICE
The scaled price is the price that bid buddy will use when calculating how much to bid
The actual price is the price shown from pinnacle
If the item is in high demand ( i.e a pinnacle no discount ) then bid buddy is confident that we will sell it easily so the scaled price is the same of higher than the actual price
If the item is in low demand ( sell it ) then bid buddy wants to not allow so much value for this item when calculating the bid
as a simple concept if we add up all the scaled price items and then split that in 1/2 - that is our bid that we can pay
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PRICE SOURCE COLUMN
See link to video that explains how the price source column works
( Note these colors are set by settings which should be only updated by manager )
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE BID SUMMERY - This is the suggested bid amount
Remember the Bid summery is what we are going to bid , the parts amount is the value of all the good parts selected and the fluff (small parts/scrap steel value ) for that car
