HEATER CORE BOX -
A heater core is a radiator-like device used in heating the cabin of a vehicle. Hot coolant from the vehicle's engine is passed through a winding tube of the core, a heat exchanger between coolant and cabin air. Fins attached to the core tubes serve to increase surface area for heat transfer to air that is forced past them by a fan, thereby heating the passenger compartment.THE HEATER CORE HAS ENGINE COOLING WATER PIPES GOING THRU IT
Sometimes people get this mixed up
Inside the plastic heater core box is the heater core ( its like a radiator sort of ) we always sell as an assembly we dont take the core out of the heater core box
sometimes the core inside fail - like a radiator
sometimes the core box is broken but we sell complete
