RETAIL-Broker- initially we wont broker ,FREIGHT -Customer pays for all as per guide and we arrange freight 

TRADE-  Broker -we do (use online broker tips as a guide , FREIGHT -we arrange ,we charge out as per guide 

WHOLESALE(other yards)  -FREIGHT- Buyer arranges freight , BROKER -We dont broker at all for  ,NOTE: if pinnacle net buyer they know our prices

IF ANOTHER SALES PERSON HAS ALREADY SOLD/QUOTED TO THIS CUSTOMER DON'T GET MIXED UP THE DEAL ,REFER THE CALL BACK TO THAT SALES PERSON,IF ITS FOR ACCOUNTS/ONLINE-EBAY SALES TRANSFER CALL TO ACCOUNTS 

IF OTHER SALES PERSON IS OUT OF OFFICE ,REFER CALL TO THEM ,DONT GET MIXED UP AND BE TAKING MESSAGES -"if he not there leave a message he will get straight back to you."

If in training 

DON'T SAY YES OR NO UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED WITH YOUR TRAINER 
PARK/HOLD THE CALL -ASK TRAINER 

when you ask trainer ,they want to know 

which customer type ,which customer (sales history/freight ) which car,which parts required  

 

get advice from trainer

go back to call ,quote them as required or tell them we don't have 

IDEALLY WE WANT TO DEAL WITH INQUIRY IN ONE CALL ,BETTER TO ASK THEM TO HOLD FOR A FEW SECONDS THAT BE CALLING THEM BALL TO COMPLETE INQUIRY

log the quote into pinnacle 

complete paperwork on day sheet 

 don't get another call until this is done

Pricing

In time you will be more flexible with process as you understand price guide ,but initially its perfectly ok jsut to quote at screen price , at a later point we will look at using screen recommendations and negotiation

Price for parts with warranty i.e Engines and Gearboxes

Quote the engine with Silver Warranty (6 months). If the customer wants a cheaper price, then offer 3 months parts only warranty.

DONT PANIC ,YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THE WORK ORDER THAT SECOND 

Its ok you don’t have to do the work order that second ,just note it clearly on the day sheet

Work thru the work order process ,its same as counter plus –select carrier and get payment right

If not sure what carrier ,look at previous invoices to that customer ,initially you will only probably do less 15 invoices in a full day so this wont be an issue

success depends on how you satisfy the customer needs,                        

the trick is working out what that need is ,it might be quality,availability to fulfill the order,price,delivery time ,order dependability

What is warranty on electrical items ? 

Offer warranty as per guides , from 3 months parts to 12 months parts and labor

WHAT IF BUYER WANTS COPY OF INVOICE BEFORE GOODS ARE READY FOR PICK UP OR SHIPPED  ? 
We cant do invoice for goods until shipping guys have picked and packed ,so if buyer wants copy we tell them we cant do until goods are picked/packed ,

in this case 
we make note on day sheet 
review flow of order from work order manager 
when goods done and ready to pick up/ship we can email invoice 
the other option is for you to send copy of quote

Ebay/online sales calls ,who deals with these ? 

if customer has bid already on item or purchased part already then refer call to online sales team ,if customer has just seen item online then its ok to quote/handle sale etc
