This site is very very good to Enter in Registration number , 

which then shows vin number 


Good for when you need vin off customer but customer doesn't know vin 


STEPS  TO USE


Log into site https://exedy.com.au/clutch-finder


Enter in registration number 

Select state from Pop up 


Vehicle Vin number and detail are now shown 

If not shown on first screen select more details 


I.e 

this also shows 

Year, Make, engine type , drive type and trans type from registration number search 


FOR AUDI/VW -It also shows engine codes !!! 


@ 220920- It doesn't seem to have daily search limit 

Please note this information is confidential - dont tell customer/supplier this information 
If customer /supplier asks then just tell them this search is on our own JJ Web site in an internal section that only we can access 

TIP #1: 
You can also use this site if you cant work out what model of car the customer has 
Just ask for registration number , state
then can see easily which make/model it is 

Note body style information is not always 100 % correct form this site

It shows car model grade

NOTE AND WARNING  FOR VIN SEARCH WITH EXEDY 
EXEDY is our preferred site to use for vin search but if doing vin only search ( you didn’t get registration number first )  and you only enter in 16 digits to vin search you might still get a result but result is incorrect
( NOTE ;all vin numbers are 17 digits ) 


So if you get unexplained or incorrect result from exedy vin search then as a tip use CARFACTS SITE as a back up
