CARS TASK - PART 5 - TOW REQUEST

Once details are entered into pinnacle and invoices entered in Xero, we send emails to tow truck company to pick up cars. 


WHAT TO SEND TO NED KELLY?

Copy the details from Car Register (like example below) after all cars are entered in pinnacle, paste it to the email, attach the invoice/s for those vehicles, then send email to info@nedkellytransport.com.au

Mostly when we buy cars they are at auction place, sometimes they are at another place for pick up in this case we wait for separate notification after we have paid for goods, see guide below


WHAT TO SEND TO SAEED? Saeed does not need details from cars purchased table. Just send him an email with the attached invoice/s.

HOW TO ARRANGE PICK UP FOR CARS FROM another location - MANHEIM 
Some cars are sold thru auction but the physical location of the car is a separate place, so process is 
How do we know its not at that place  1. lts number 2 its noted on invoice 
 



PROCESS 
we pay for the car as normal ,
enter into pinnacle as normal 
FORWARD PROFORMA INVOICE TO CARRIER VIA EMAIL

usually within 1-2 working days after payment we receive notification from auction house once they have processed payments and they will advise pick up details 







Depending on location we may use different driver, see towing table for preferred companies also expected delivery date and towing cost will change so make adjustments for this also.
Once you receive an Item Collection Authority email, attach the invoice and forward this to the assigned driver for that particular vehicle. 
TIP: Get the REGO stated on the email then check cars purchased table to get the invoice# related to that item collection authority email.

These are similar to Manheim item collection authority 

open the email 

check the location of the car -confirm which carrier should pick up that car 

*** When we send Autorola invoices we need to advise tow truck company as to where the car is. They need to know pick up details-address ,name ,phone number etc*** 

After sending email to drivers move the auction emails to PURCHASED CARS folder under Buyers folder

FAQ

HOW DO I KNOW THAT CAR IS @ A DIFFERENT LOCATION ? 
With Manheim cars from another location will always have letter at end of lot number ,note not all cars with letter at the end though are from another location 
also on the invoice description shows as "VEHICLE LOCATED IN XX LOCATION 


HOW DO I KNOW WHICH CARRIER TO MESSAGE WHEN HAVING CAR PICKED UP FROM ANOTHER LOCATION ? 

Refer to towing table there is section at the bottom which shows area and preferring towing company 
with lot number will have a letter at the end of the lot number ,note sometimes  
 
WHEN I SEND MESSAGE SHOULD I EXPECT A REPLY ? 
No,not generally unless there is a problem
