BACK UP DISC FOR SERVER.
Back up disk and tape for server.
Disk is each working day
Tape is changed each Monday.
Disk.
The disk are located in the server room on the 4th shelf down.
1. Each working morning eject the disk from Dell Power edge R420 located n the top shelf
2. Swap the disk over and insert the disk marked for the day of the week you are changing example insert Monday disk if day is a Monday. Note leave the server disk carrier open for 1 minute - this allows time for the computer to recognize the disk has been removed.
3. The disk that has been removed from the computer server - MUST be taken off the premises. Once removed give the disk to accounts Personal to take off the premises. (take disk home) ......
Tape
The tapes are located in the server room on the 4th shelf down.
1. Each Monday Morning eject the tape from Dell RD 1000 located 4th shelf down is server room.
2. Swap the tape over - there are 2 tapes in total - week 1 and week 2. Note do not insert tape for 1 minute - this allows time for the computer to recognize the tape has been removed.
3. The tape that has been removed from the computer server - MUST be taken off the premises. Once removed give the tape to accounts Personal to take off the premises. (take tape home) ......
