Occasionally new customers will request an account application we need to balance between offering this service and extending our credit and cash flow 
Ideally we would not offer any accounts as is takes time to collect, we have risk that we wont be paid however some companies insist especially larger ones 


GUIDE 
We don't normally extend credit unless customer has traded with us for 3 months and is expected to have 4 or more transactions every month (for exception sales manager can make decision) 

If admin staff have customer asking as regards obtaining account from JJ
then accounts to note customer details ( company name , contact person and contact number or email address ) and email those to sales manager and general manager 
note - we dont want accounts staff to promote to customers to get an account but we just want to understand how many customers are asking for this

Must be purchasing multiple parts every month  for the past 3 months

Must have purchased more than 10 seperate occasions in the past 6 months

Credit ratio less than 20% on those sales

Once received back, check history in Pinnacle - Management - Accounting Reports - A2

For 30 day account - dealerships

Advise customer and send form as attachment

Please fill in the attached new member inquiry form and then send it to csl@capricorn.coop


Once you get an approval from Capricorn, kindly advise us of your Capricorn account number which we will use for your orders.
