As a general guide we dont want to lose money on freight but we need to be competitive so we use guides to get accurate freight guide efficiently
As regards getting freight quote or guide for charging freight
step 1 - use he simple table as shown in JJ sales - freight table
TIP : BOOKMARK THIS AND LEAVE TAB OPEN ALL THE TIME
If freight isnt shown as set amount then at times we will use freight calculator as in built in our ebay store
in this case enter in customers postcode and this will show freight amount
note if you cant enter that item into stock then any part of same part type will give you same result so just use that
for some very large items we may mark as pick up only
these items freight is an issue to arrange and almost always we want customer to come first and inspect before we send
