HOW TO CONVERT REGULAR FILES TO GOOGLE DOCS

You can upload regular excel file to Google Drive just like what we do with Dropbox. But if you want the documents like word, spreadsheets, presentations, drawings and even PDF files to be converted to Google Docs, here is how to do it.

1. First, go to www.google.com.au on your browser.



2. Log in using the master account for creating google docs .





3. Click on the UPLOAD (upward arrow) beside the CREATE button on the left side of the page then click on Files...




4.  The it will open up a window where you can browse and look for the files you want to upload then double click on that. For this example I'll use the eBay parts table so double click on




5. If you want to convert the file to Google docs, make sure that the box that says "Convert documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and drawings to the corresponding Google Docs format" is ticked then click on START UPLOAD button.




6. It will show a small square window showing the status of upload and conversion on lower right hand of the page. Once its done, it will show the Google doc file above.
