We have a target to achieve of dismantling so we can be competitive and provide enough cars for sale

we have fixed costs rent,rates,electricity,rates etc  that are costed over the number of cars we dismantle so if we can dismantle more cars then our set costs per car are lower and we are more competitive
 
 We use the V2 report to measure number of cars dismantled

the clear definition of car as being dismantled is when parts are on crate with folder

so to calculate the  number of cars dismantled in a period

add the number of folders in crates to cars dismantled as shown in v2 report
less the number of crates with folders at the start of the period

KPI- 40 cars per week@NOV 2014

(6 dismantlers ,7 hours per day ,5 days per week =210 hours = 40 cars = 5.25 hours per car, each dismantler 1.33 per day

 

If public holiday then is reduced proportionally

If one dismantler on annual leave is reduced proportionally i.e one dismantler away for 1 day take away 1.333 cars off target 

 

TIME TASKS (note these yourself in document on outlook under calendar for that Monday )

allow average 15 hours per week ??  time tasks for all dismantlers (i.e unload car carrier ,sold parts etc )

so if extra than this time then this comes off weekly target –each extra hour unusual tasks take off .2 of a car each hour

 

what about scrap cars that we are finishing off –

no these done on time

 

this is average ,if short then dismantling team make up the next week


FRIDAY LEAVE EARLY GUIDE FOR STAFF

in full week personally must have dismantled 5 plus cars to qualify (dismantled is defined as parts on crate and car off hoist)

if you have dismantled 7 cars even if we didn't make target of 40 cars then still option for you to leave early


FAQ FRIDAY LEAVE EARLY GUIDE

 


---if short week i.e public holiday
your target is reduced by 20% per public holiday in the week

---if you are on annual leave for some part of week,target is less 20%  per annual leave day

--what if i was doing time tasks ? your car target is reduced by 1 car for every 5.5 hours you spent with time tasks

--if you are absent ,sick ,your target remains the same
