WHAT AMOUNT TO PUT IN FOR PROJECTED SALES IF LOT NUMBER IS MISSING

Sometimes this happens,in this case we use estimate projected sales

- if car cost less than 2000 without gst, then projected sales is $1000 more than (non gst purchase price)

- if car cost 2001 to 3500 without gst, then projected sales is $1500 more than purchase price (non gst purchase price)

- if car cost 3501 or more, then projected sales is $2000 more than purchase price(non gst purchase price)

Enter Projected Sales in Column L and Recommended Bid in Column M

With these cars, we don't create separate session each time we bid on cars. So to find car information look at date of bid and model type

• When given month & yr, for example: 08/1999

ODOMETER

When given odometer reading, for example, 186,082 kms, enter 186082 (no commas). When no odometer reading is given, use 1,000.

Enter color. If color not stated, use UNKNOWN.

NOTIFICATION DATE

The date you enter the car details in Pinnacle

PURCHASE DATE

The date on the pdf file, usually found on the upper right portion.

CLASS

Always use DISMANTLE.

LOT

Enter LOT number (could be alphanumeric), no need to write the word "LOT"

STALL

Enter UNKNOWN

AUCTION NAME AND LOCATION, Engine, REGO#, Body Style, Color, INVOICE NUMBER, LOT NUMBER

BUYER NAME

Buyer Name is always BUYER-MATTHEW

TOW REQUEST ON

Same as Notification Date.

EXPECTED ON

You will determine expected date depending on the vendor.

Manheim - Buyer Admin Fee (ex GST)

Pickles - add the totals of Administration Charge/Internet Bidding Fee/Processing Fee (w/o GST)

PROJECTED SALES

Recommended Bid/ Projected Sales from Bid Buddy, get the TotalVal for that LOT#.

If LOT# is not in Bid Buddy, get the total amount w/o GST then add:

+1000 (less than 2000)

+1500 (2001 - 3500)

+2000 (3501 or more)

Click on SAVE.

A pop-up window will ask you “PRINT TOW REPORT?” select NO.

Click on “EXIT” Pop up window will appear “Save Changes?” click YES.

FAQ

Question: What if there is an option for the car either 2WD or 4WD?

Answer: When not sure, use 2WD.
